General

How does AutoAgents work?

We're an online dealership with real, inspected inventory in Ontario and British Columbia. Browse and buy online, or tell your dedicated agent what you're looking for and we'll source it from anywhere in Canada. Either way, one agent handles your financing, trade-in, paperwork, and delivery from start to finish.

How is AutoAgents different from a traditional dealership?

We work with you to get you into the right vehicle instead of pushing whatever needs to move off the lot. Every vehicle we list is inspected and safety-certified before it goes online, and when your right car isn't in our inventory, we find it and buy it specifically for you — with your approval at every step.

Where do your vehicles come from?

Our inventory is hand-picked, and sourced vehicles come from private sellers, dealer networks, auctions, lease companies, manufacturers all over Canada. We only buy vehicles we'd purchase ourselves.

Are AutoAgents vehicles certified?

Yes. Every vehicle we sell passes a third-party mechanical inspection and carries a provincial safety certification.

Does AutoAgents charge service fees?

Our pricing is all-in: the total price includes pre-purchase inspection, safety certification, and cleaning. Licensing and taxes are not included, and additional fees for financing may apply — but there are no surprise add-ons at signing.

How am I protected buying a vehicle I haven't seen in person?

Every vehicle goes through the same process before you commit: background and title check, carfax history review, third-party mechanical inspection, fluid, electrical, and road-test checks, provincial safety certification. At delivery you complete a final walk-around before signing off, and if the vehicle isn't as described and we can't make it right, we start the search again.

What do I need to get started?

An idea of what matters to you, what you like and dislike, and some semblance of a budget. That's it — your agent takes it from there.

Financing

How are my financing terms determined?

Your payment, term, and interest rate are based on the vehicle year, your credit profile, and the current programs available through our lender network.

I have bad credit — can I still finance through AutoAgents?

Yes. We work with prime, near-prime, and rebuilding-credit customers, and we can walk you through options that may lower your rate once you qualify.

Can I still buy with AutoAgents but use my bank?

Yes. Bring your bank or credit-union approval and we can compare it against our lender quotes. If your bank is better, you can use it.

What is the process for monthly payments?

Once your final approval is signed, payments come from your selected bank account automatically based on the terms you choose.

Trade-ins & selling

Why trade in with AutoAgents instead of selling privately?

Selling privately takes time, and you give up the trade-in tax credit on your next purchase. In Ontario, a $35,000 trade-in can create $4,550 in HST savings. That makes the trade-in value comparable to selling privately for $39,550 before the extra time, risk, and paperwork. We get your vehicle in front of multiple buyers to establish its strongest value, then put the best offer in front of you.

What's the trade-in process?

Start with our online appraisal — it takes a few minutes and tells you what your vehicle is worth. From there we confirm details like condition and mileage, position the best offer for your approval, and apply the value to your next vehicle or pay you out.

What if I owe more on my car than it's worth?

The remaining balance can be rolled into your next vehicle's financing, and you still benefit from the trade-in tax credit on the full trade-in value.

Warranty & protection

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. We work with established warranty providers to match you with the right coverage for your vehicle and budget.

How much does a warranty cost?

It depends on the vehicle, the coverage you choose, and the term length. Your agent will price the options with you before you decide.

Delivery

What is the delivery process?

Once your vehicle is ready for the road, you can pick it up at one of our locations or have it delivered to your door. You complete a walk-around before signing off.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is free within 500 km of our locations. Beyond that, we deliver anywhere in Canada for a fee your agent quotes up front — before you commit to anything.

When do I get my registration and paperwork?

At delivery. When we hand you the keys you receive the full package — vehicle ownership, warranty documentation, and everything else you need.

What if there are imperfections that weren't in the inspection report?

Anything not flagged in the original report, beyond reasonable wear and tear, is addressed at AutoAgents' cost.

Still deciding?

Tell us your goals. We'll handle the rest.
